This fitness center in Scottsdale was designed for elite memberships to patronage looking for not just fitness goals but health goals pairing strength training, recovery, and endurance with spa services, health diagnostics, and personal training. Presenting opportunities for indoor and outdoor training with a modern finish-out in a repurposed structure reduced development cost and increased utilization. The unique challenge at this location was engaging the site at the entry which was not architecturally signified as such in the existing context, the solution was to improve site conditions introducing screening elements and site components to frame a corner plaza entry welcoming more of the site into the building.
